Sundays  |  11:00 - 12:15  |  St Nicholas Cole Abbey

11am service

Whether you’re new to London, looking for a church, or just visiting, we’d love for you to join us on Sunday!

What to expect

10:30 – Come early for coffee and pastries before the service.

11:00 – The service is made up of songs, prayers, a reading from the Bible, and a talk explaining and applying the Bible passage to our lives today.

12:15 – Coffee and pastries are brought around where we’re seated so we can spend a few minutes discussing what we’ve heard during the sermon.

12:30 – Lots of our church family go off to get lunch nearby and then come back to eat together at church.

Children

We love children at St Nick’s and you’ll find plenty of little ones running around on Sunday mornings. We long for each child to develop a love for Jesus that lasts a lifetime.

We want to ensure that everyone in our church family is able to listen to God’s word each week. We provide Crèche (6 months to age 2), a 3 to 5s Sunday School and a 6-11s Sunday School so children can learn about God in their age appropriate groups and so that the rest of the church family in the service can listen to the sermon without distraction. Children over age 11 are encouraged to stay in the service.

Our children’s groups are run by DBS checked volunteers from within our church family, in line with our safeguarding policies.

Our Children’s Groups

Babies – Babies under 6 months are welcome to stay in for the first part of the service. During the break mums take them upstairs to the feeding room, which has live audio to the service.

Crèche –  Older babies and toddlers enjoy lots of fun play time as well as a Bible story to learn big truths about God, Jesus and us.

3-5s Sunday School – Children aged 3-5 listen to a Bible story, with an extended time to play afterwards, while talking about the story.

6-11s Sunday School – Primary school aged children work their way through books of the Bible with a short talk followed by a craft activity and games.

Visitors – We love having visitors and look forward to welcoming you! Please ask a member of the welcome team to direct you to your child’s age-appropriate group just before the service starts. If your child would prefer, a parent is able to stay with them in their group.
