We long to have the gospel captivate and dwell in us. So we need to remind ourselves – and each other – of the gospel. Paul speaks in Ephesians 4 of the vital work of building up the body of believers and he says this happens as we ‘speak the truth in love’ to one another (Eph 4v15-16).
Our meetings (Sundays, small groups and prayer slots, and other church meet-ups) are structured so that this brilliant and vital truthing of the gospel can be happening between us all, so that together we can ‘grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ’.
A big focus is also placed on one-to-one bible reading and discipleship, as the Lord Jesus calls us to be making disciple-making disciples.
